BUILDING MATERIALS NATURAL MATERIALS SOLD

RASANTE NANO MGN (T)

MGN NANOTECHNOLOGY SKIM COAT is a finishing compound with high thermal reflection capacity, to be applied in a thin layer, between 4 and 10 mm. The mixture is composed of natural air lime, natural hydraulic lime NHL 3.5, lightened amorphous silica and nanotechnology aerogel. Thanks to its equivalent thermal conductivity of λe = 0.010 W/mK, it can improve thermal comfort by 3 °C to 5 °C in the environments where it is applied, even with a thickness of just a few millimetres.

RINZAFFO MGN (I)

RINZAFFO PER CONTROSPINTA MGN is a pre-formulated mortar based on NHL lime, natural pozzolan and selected aggregates with multiple properties. It guarantees secure adhesion in dehumidification interventions with MGN plasters. It has excellent water resistance and good impermeability, while also maintaining the same breathability characteristics. New and old buildings of any type, restorations, ecological or special constructions.

LIME PLASTERS

We have selected a specialised range of Roman and Venetian lime mortars that are highly valued in historical restoration and modern ecological construction thanks to their breathability, salt resistance and durability. These mortars can be used for structural consolidation or waterproofing, or as a traditional mortar or plaster. They offer excellent performance in humid or saline environments. They enable walls to ‘breathe’ whilst resisting water and salts.

HEMP MORTAR

This is a bio-material made from industrial hemp shives, hydrated lime and other additives that give the composite mixture its desired properties. The result is a ‘carbon negative’ solution.

The consumption of each constituent of the mixture depends on its intended use (walls, floor or roof), with dry densities ranging from 220 to 360 kg/m³.

ADDITIONS

Various other natural materials can be incorporated into hempcrete to enhance its properties. Using metakaolin, for example, improves the mechanical properties, fire resistance and durability of hemp concrete. However, adding more can increase the initial strength.

HEMPCRETE

A bio-material that makes use of industrial hemp shivs, hydrated lime and other additions that give the composite mixture the desired properties, resulting in a ‘carbon negative’ solution.

The consumption of each of the mixture’s constituents depends on the type of use, walls, floor or roof, with dry densities ranging from 220 to 360 kg/m3.

HEMP SHIVES (0-25 mm)

Hemp shives are an excellent natural insulator to be used as aggregate for hempcrete. This product is labelled ‘Granulat Hemp Building’.

This hemp in 20 kg bags has the qualities of having a light colour, a controlled grain size, a reduced dust rate, an ideal moisture rate and a constant bulk density.

Available by the bag or on pallets of up to 21 bags per pallet.

HYDRATED LIME

Hydrated lime, also known as aerated lime, is one of the main elements in hemp concrete. It has an excellent binding power, binding hemp shavings together.

Lime produced in Portugal at the best price, with 90% or more CaO + MgO.

Available in 20kg bags or pallets of up to 60 bags.

HEMP SHIVES (0-6 mm)

Hemp shavings are an excellent natural insulator to be used as an aggregate for thermal or decorative mortars. This product is labelled ‘Granulat Hemp Building’.

This hemp has the qualities of a light colour, a controlled grain size, a reduced dust content, an ideal moisture content and a constant bulk density.

Available in 20kg bags or on pallets of up to 21 bags per pallet.

HEMP BLOCKS

This product is the result of Natura Matéria’s collaboration with Cânhamor. Research and Development (R&D) was carried out on the hemp block and the production process.

A sustainable construction solution that is very simple to implement and produced in Portugal.

Natura Matéria commercialises and supports the team of designers, builders and contractors.

HEMP INSULATION

Hemp fibres are used for thermal insulation by ‘unravelling’ and ‘expanding’ them. Thanks to its purely mechanical manufacturing process, hemp fibre insulation is a material with an extremely positive ecological footprint. This plant-based fibre insulation offers the technical performance required for a healthy and comfortable home.

The fibres used in our products are sourced from European crops and processing.
