Development of a camping site project in a sturdy wooden structure using hemp as the construction material, to be built in Castelo Branco.
Natura Matéria is providing specific consultancy to support the design of the walls and floor, in hemp concrete, with a lightweight wooden roof structure insulated with hemp wool. Natura Matéria will also assess the suitability of the existing soil for incorporation into the hemp concrete mix.
It will also provide technical assistance to the project and construction site to monitor the execution of the rammed earth walls and the preparation of test specimens.
