Development of the stability project for a new structural rammed earth house of around 324.5 m2 using local soil as the building material, to be built in Melides, Grândola.
Natura Matéria provides specific consultancy to support the construction of rammed earth walls using local soil. Natura Matéria aims to assess the suitability of the existing soil and define the soil mix, including characterising the relevant properties to meet the stability criteria. It also includes carrying out tests during the execution of the work to assess compliance with the conditions established in the stability project.
It also provides technical assistance to the project and site to monitor the execution of the rammed earth walls and the preparation of test specimens.
