Type of intervention
Part of the pre-existing structure, namely stone masonry walls, will be utilised and insulated with hempcrete in order to achieve high levels of energy performance and comfort. In the new walls, lightweight industrial hempcrete (BC) was also selected for its excellent thermal and acoustic comfort properties, as well as for providing the necessary thermal inertia. The use of hemp wool is also planned for the roof.
Natura Matéria will consult on the project during natural construction, at the planning permission stage and on site, facilitating the design of construction details, liaison with specialities and the procurement of materials.
