Type of intervention
The aim is to thermally rehabilitate the existing building, with existing stone masonry walls, to achieve high levels of energy performance. Lightweight industrial hempcrete was selected for the excellent thermal and acoustic comfort it provides, as well as providing the necessary thermal inertia. The possibility of using hempcrete for the floor and roof will also be studied.
Natura Matéria will consult on the project in natural construction, at the licensing project stage, facilitating the design of construction details, liaison with specialities, procurement of materials, preparation of hemp concrete on site and monitoring.
